Beef Taco Skillet

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
I gave this recipe a 5 star rating because it is easy and tastes good. I had all ingrediants on hand. I did not use tortillas for fear that they would be gummy, so I used tortilla chips, sour cream and cheese. Yummy! It is kinda like chili meets taco salad. Very good, will make again.

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
OH MY GOODNESS... The name fits this recipe perfectly. This is truly the BEST lemon bar. Per other reviewers I used 2/3 cup of lemon juice and the zest of two lemons. I also added an extra tablespoon of flour to the lemon juice mixture. I baked the crust for 20 minutes and the filling for 25 minutes.I sprinkled powder sugar over the top while they were hot so it would stick. Came out PERFECT, set up very nicely and easy to get out of the pan. Look no futher for a great lemon bar recipe!!

Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is a very easy and quick recipe. They taste wonderful but, they came out flat. My family likes more of a dense cookie. I will make again because they are so easy.

Good recipe, I used 5 tablespoons of light mayo and used whole wheat bagels. I baked for ten minutes and then put a slice of swiss cheese on top and put them under the broiler for a minute and the cheese was brown and bubbly....

This is a very good recipe. I was short on time so I cooked this on the stove and let it simmer for 30min. Will make this again. Very good with sour cream and cheese and tortilla chips!

Chewiest Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
Very good brownie... Per other reviewers I used 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup cocoa powder. They are very chewy and yummy. Another great thing about them is that they are low in calories and you cannot even tell. I have made other low fat brownie recipes and you can look at them and thell they are low fat, they also taste low fat. This is NOT the case with these, I will keep this recipe in my favorites pile..

Very good recipe. I used other suggestions and used an envelope on taco seasoing and the water it called for and cooked for a few minutes and then added a can of black beans and diced tomatoes and let simmer for about five minutes. I also doubled the cheese!!! Very good and will surely keep this in my recipe book.

Apple Bread

I had some extra apples and made this bread. It is wonderful. I followed another reviewers suggestions and to lower fat instead of oil, I used 1 cup of applesauce and 1/4 cup of orange juice. They are so good. My kids love them. Also, it is a good way to get some fruit in them:)
