Everyone in my family cooks. It never occurred to me that I couldn't. When I come to think of it, mom let me and my brother get away with a lot when it came to experimenting in the kitchen. Huge breakfasts on the weekends, biscuits, deviled eggs, escalloped corn, honey glazed carrots, all sorts of desserts, and usually anything new and different. Anytime someone goes for seconds I know I've done well.
