Biscotti
I was never a big fan of biscotti but decided to try making some. I did replace the anise with an equal amount of imitation almond flavor. Wow, these are great! I read someone else's review who rated it poorly because the recipe fell apart when using whole wheat flour. I tried whole wheat flour also with bad results. I would not rate the recipe lower for that though; the author of the recipe says to use flour not wheat flour. And wheat flour DOES act diifferently that white flour; it does not hold together because it doesn't have as much gluten as white flour. I am going to use some of the suggested add-ins and make these for Christmas presents. This recipe makes a wonderful biscotti that gives this non-morning person something to look forward to in the morning!

Cherry Cobbler II
I rate this a 5 with some changes. I took other people's advice and reduced the sugar to 3/4 C, the butter to 1/4 C, and added a 1/4 t vanilla. I did, however, bake in a 13x9 glass dish, but only baked for about 35 minutes. It's great!

Barbeque Tempeh Sandwiches
This is phenomenal! I followed the suggestions to rinse the tempeh in cold water and to add garlic and hot sauce to the BBQ sauce. This is something I will definitely be making often!
