Tacos in Pasta Shells

I've been making this recipe for over 15 years. I use low fat chive & onion cream chz. I also use Bison instead of hamburger. Have used turkey before as well. Bison is the family favorite. I also omit the salt if I'm using tortilla chips. I make this for new moms or families that need a dinner and every time have been asked to share the recipe.

Cosmo-Style Pomegranate Martini

Made this for a holiday party and they were a HIT! A lil potent but so yummy! I used a liquor called Bauchant...cheaper and as a mixer you cannot tell the difference! I also dipped our rims in lemon juice and then in a pomegranate sugar that I found at my large liquor store. Thanks for sharing this great cocktail!

Peach Praline Muffins

You can see the peaches but really can't taste the peaches...as I find with EVERY peach muffin recipe I have ever tried. Liked the overall taste and the topping is wonderful. Added 1T of cinnamon to the muffin mix. Will make again next peach season:)

Peachy Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce

I made this for a family gathering last nite and this dessert WOW'D em...even those who aren't bread budding fans! I added a 2T of peach liquor to the batter for a lil added YUM!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

We loved these muffins. I did make a few adjustments. I only had fat free vanilla yogurt, so used that. I added vanilla-nut extract...Watkins brand. I also added wheat germ and Fiber-sure to these muffins. Didn't add the salt and only used 1/2 cup of sugar. Also used mini-chocolate chips. Next time will try flaxseeds and whole wheat flour. Thanks for this recipe!

World's Best Lasagna

This really is the best lasagna I have ever eaten!!! I made this for my husbands 40th birthday over the weekend and had our families over...they all RAVED over it. The little kids even ate it. I made a few adjustments per the other reviews...I added red wine to my sauce...I used the polly-o ricotta cheese and added nutmeg to that mix. I also added more Italian seasoning roughly another tablespoon...left out the fennel...only because I forgot to buy it. I also used oven ready noodles. I had sauce leftover...perfect for dipping our garlic bread in:) THANK YOU for this recipe! It's a keeper!

Banana Pudding III

We made this for an adult 50's party on 2.21.09...120 guest...this pudding is SINFUL!! This is THE best pudding...use real cream not cool whip! The only enhancement made was we topped it off with a rum cream...1 cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar and 4 teaspoons dark rum...beat the cream till soft peaks form, add the sugar beat till stiff peaks then blend in the rum. Mighty tasty!!!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

We made this meatloaf for a 50's party on 2.21.09...120 guests...we received rave reviews. Followed the recipe exactly except added a glaze of ketchup. Moist, nice flavor. This will be my go to meatloaf from now on...for my family might spice it up with some salsa:) Thanks for sharing this recipe!!!!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Made this for the superbowl...followed the recipe exactly and LOVED IT! To be honest I didnt even know chicken crackers existed nor that chicken also comes in a can! Tastes just like wings!! Next time I will add a touch more hot sauce just because we like it spicy! THXS for sharing this recipe!

Sangria! Sangria!

I made this last night for my book club ladies...7 outta 8 loved this drink! I used apricot brandy and peach schnapps and added strawberries…no sugar. I had club soda and ginerale on hand as mixers per the other reviews. Most went with club soda. The one gal who didn’t care for it said it was just to sweet for her…even mixing with the club soda. I can tell you I am not feeling my best today because I kept going back for more. I tripled this recipe and ran out…this is a keeper!
