I work in the correctional field and am very busy with school and sports of three teenage girls, so time is of great importance. My better half doesn't care for much pasta which can make for a diffucult menu choice at times. He's a steak and potato guy and finding new meals that he really likes has been hit and miss. But to his credit he is a great cook himself and whips together some amazing meals.
My favorite things to cook
Mexican and quick and easy meals
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother loves to bake goodies during the holidays and this is something I like to do but don't always have time.
My cooking tragedies
My first Thanksgiving dinner on my own. I was in Bad Krueznach Germany and wanted to make a great dinner, but in our apartment we had only a apartment sized stove and all the cooking instructions on the stove were german. I proceded to put a full sized bird in this very small stove and a few hours later black smoke was rolling out of the kichen and all the alarms were going off. Needless to say there was no turkey for thankgiving only "coal" and a quickly prepared ham loaf...
