Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake
Hands down the best chocolate cake ever! Did have extra batter and used it to make cupcakes - they took about 17 minutes in the oven along with the cake proper. Used the Chocolate Glaze II recipe from this site for the cake. Everyone moaned in delight at their first taste! The utensils and platter from the cake were literally scraped clean after the rest had been demolished by my co-workers!!!

Pudding Shots
As others have noted - a tub of Cool Whip is also necessary for this recipe. I have used regular or Extra Creamy and both work fine! I've also used 1% milk and no taste difference. And I only use 3/4 cup of milk at that. I've never adjusted other amounts even if I've used larger box of pudding. Don't limit yourself to Irish Cream and Vokda for alcohol choices. Sub out the Vodka for things like coffee liqueur (like Starbucks) or even Gold Schlagger. Some combos that are fantastic: - Choc Pud + 1/2 c. Blackberry Schnapps + 1/4 c. Vodka -OR-- Choc w/ Caramel Chips Pud + 1/2 c. Caramel Baileys + 1/4 c. Starbucks Liquor --OR-- Oreo Pudding + 1/2 c. Reg Baileys + 1/4 c. Vodka --OR--Butterscotch Pudding + 1/2 c.Baileys + 1/8 c. Goldschlagger (it's too strong to use more) -- OR -- Pumpkin Pud + 1/2 c. Caramel Baileys + 1/4 c. Starbucks Liquor The sky is the limit on combinations!!!

Applesauce Bars
Very good! I did substitute homemade apple butter for the applesauce and it worked fine. I will try making in an 8x8 next time since I felt like the end result was way too thin when done in a 9 x 13 pan. I used the sprinkled powdered sugar on top and that was very nice. I also think this recipe would be fantastic with a crumble topping sprinkled on before baking - 1 part flour, 1 part brown sugar and 1 part butter cut in to form crumbs. I might even add some cinnamon to the crumble part too. Will be trying again for sure!
