Chocolate Brittle Surprise

Was skeptical of the saltines/toffee combo- boy was i wrong! My husband requested 2 more batches and even ate the bits in the pan after breaking. As long as you follow directions, this is no fail.

Finnish Pulla

Wow. I am Finnish(American) and this was the first time i made this. My husband ate a loaf and the kids finished off the rest, Froze one and gave a gift to the new neighbor. On top of the egg-wash i added a topping of sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom. Depending on the size of loaves this will make more than 3. The house smells amazing.

Italian White Bean And Pancetta Soup

4 stars because i modified slightly. Pancetta is expensive so i used a smoked cervelat salami, diced and fried instead. Great smokey/salty flavor, less expensive. It would be 5 stars if i followed exactly.

Easy Swedish Apple Pie

Didn't feel like making a crust so i went looking for something else. This was wonderful. I added extra spices(preference)and topped pre-baked with sliced almonds. Compliments to the chef!

Lemon Blueberry Drop Scones

I like my scones a little on the moist side, so these were great. Added lemon juice, blueberry jam and sour cream. The dough was a little dry so i added a splash of milk, otherwise great moist scones. Enjoy with a black cup of coffee.

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Best crust recipe on here. I did, however, let it double rise and rest before cooking. I also par baked for 2 minutes @500 then topped and cooked at LOWEST rack in oven. Delicious.

Tasty Tuna Burgers

Great idea for using tuna other than casserole or salad. I used 3 cans tuna, 2 eggs, fresh breadcrumbs differently from original but all the other ingredients the same. Would recommend.

Bananas 'N' Cream Bundt Cake

Great cake. Very moist and flavorful. I used a few cups of the kids flavored yogurts instead of plain(4 oz. size). Also, drizzled with store bought frosting heated a bit in the microwave over the top when cool.

Crackle Top Molasses Cookies

Great flavor and easy to work with. However, mine didn't flatten out when cooked. Perhaps more oil is needed or maybe just pressing a bit before baking. I used allspice, vanilla, and cinnamon.
