Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread
I made this cornbread for a dinner party last night and it was a big hit! I just made a few changes which turned out great. I only used 1/3 cup sugar (it was sweet enough with this!), added half a can (about 8oz) creamed corn, cut down on the buttermilk to about 3/4cup. This is by far the best cornbread I've made. Just a tip, I melted the butter in the microwave in a large glass bowl, and had the other ingredients ready to go, rather than cooking it on the stove. So easy!
