My cooking triumphs
Cooking in a daycare and having the children actually love the food (talk about a tough crowd!). Cooking for a family of 10 in Costa Rica with limited power, in a strange kitchen (open air too), with some food ingredients that I couldn't read the label! (that resulted in a huge, fresh red snapper wrapped in a humongous banana leaf and prepared on hot open flame. One of the best fish we'd ever eaten!
My cooking tragedies
As my husband refers to that faithful meal. . . pasta carbon-ara. I burned a home-made spaghetti sauce. I was nursing my newborn daughter and forgot to stir the sauce. Ah, well.
