Perfectly simple, tasty recipe! Followed recipe as is, except I could not get my gas oven to start, so I cooked it stove top in a pan with a small amount of cooking oil. It turned out great! (I sprinkled with some sesame seeds for garnish, too.)

Peanut Butter Stuffed Jalapenos

This was definitely one of the strangest, simplest, and most intriguing recipes I've ever seen. We made this recipe on New Year's Eve and everyone loved it. You can't imagine the results until you try it. Yum!

Val and Jess's Vegan Avocado Dip

I have made this recipe on over three occasions now, and every time the bowl is empty before you know it. It is a great dip. Very fresh and flavorful. Do make sure you have a "thicker" tortilla chip for dipping because the dip is quite substantial. Definitely give this one a try!

French Toast Fingers

Success! My 2 year old and 4 year old loved this recipe. I used a whole wheat bread and a thin layer of jelly...they held together fine. I also quickly cooked the third and fourth side of each "finger." My girls ate them with yogurt a small amount of powdered sugar on the side. (They love being able to dip & make their own "recipe"!) We will definitely be eating these again. Thanks!

Wacky Cake VIII

I love this recipe! My family always made this when I was little and this recipe tastes as good as I remember. Don't forget to have fun with some simple stencils or doilies. After my daughters and I made the cake, I cut out a stencil of their initials and sifted powdered sugar on top. Simple, but it made some smiles!

Banana Pancakes I

Loved 'em! I followed recipe as written, except I was a little too tempted by the half bag of chocolate chips on the counter, and threw a few on the top of each pancake while it was cooking. I will definitely make them again.

Pumpkin Pancakes

My 14 month old and 2 1/2 year old "demand" pancakes almost every day. I've been looking for a substitute for plain pancakes and this is it! Everybody loved them. I made the recipe as witten and had no difficulty cooking them through. They are certainly a little thicker than a regular pancake, but that is part of the appeal. I love the idea of adding vegetable (pumpkin) and less sugar than in an average pancake recipe. I will definitely be making these again!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Not your typical mac 'n' cheese, but such a simple recipe! Being able to combine everything in the 9x13 pan eliminates a bowl and just makes it so quick! Everyone likes it, including my 15 month old!

Apple Dumplings I

I certainly was skeptical of such a simple recipe, but after following the original recipe (without any variations) I had a great "comfort food" dessert! Not a gourmet dessert, but as yummy as can be with such ease.
