About this Cook
I'm a mother of two boys (ages 4 & 2), happily married and a stay at home mom / business owner.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy entertaining, so I like experimenting with appetizers. I also love cooking my family lasagna recipe, chili, homemade candy or bread. When the boys were babies I loved making all of their baby foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Lasagna, chicken cordon bleu, enchiladas, spaghetti and pot roast are all things I learned to cook growing up.
My cooking triumphs
On a recent camping trip I made mashed sweet potatoes with sour cream and chives and the whole group went crazy for them! I also learned that homemade dinner rolls are not as difficult as I thought, same with homemade pizza dough.
My cooking tragedies
Everything when I first began! My husband and I moved in together when I was 18 and we lived off Hamburger Helper for the first few years because I ruined everything I touched in the kitchen!
