followed the author's adjustments, added a little paprika and had me some garlicky, yummy hummus. if you cook ur own beans, 1 cup dry will do.

Strawberry Trifle

my friend's mother used this recipe for an easter dessert two or three years ago and i still haven't forgotten it. it looks beautiful and tastes great!

No Bake Cookies I

i didnt watch the time very well during the melting phase and still had no problems. this recipe recreated the cookies from my childhood perfectly. yum!

i used this recipe to make a single layered cake and it turned out great--the second time. I would advise to go easy and eyeball it on the brown sugar and coconut flakes or else you can end up with a crispy brown top with no pineapple or cherries in sight. otherwise, great!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

i have a small toaster-like oven and the temperature fluctuates terribly but these cookies are very forgiving and dont burn. made them when my husbands friends came over. they were the first homemdae cookies they ever ate (we live in s. korea) and they said we should start a cookie business. ^^ so, i'd say this is a great recipe!
