My favorite things to cook

I love to cook for other people; especially my friends. I love to try began cooking, my close friend is vegan to the max and i'm always looking for new recipes of thigns i can make her.

My favorite family cooking traditions

My family is Italian and we love to make pasta and sauce from scratch with pepperoni and meatballs yum!

My cooking triumphs

the first time i roasted a chicken was a triumph. Even though they're not hard at all i still love that i can tell people "i know how to roast a chicken"

My cooking tragedies

I absolutely CAN NOT make cheesecake. i can make everything else imaginable but cheesecake just never works with me.

Streusel Topped Blueberry Muffins

Very good. I substituted soy milk for dairy milk, and tangelo zest instead of lemon. I also dumped the dry ingredients and milk all at once, and then mixed a little; that's the way my mom taught me to make muffins, thrown everything in and then mix until it's almost all wet. Leave some dry parts. They crowned well and are SO good!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

I found the chicken to be a bit dry. I don't know if i would try this recipe again using some chicken broth, i'd be afriad of it evaporating too quickly, or over-saturating the chicken. It was VERY tasty though.
