I'm in High School. I'm currently planning on going to culinary school by Austin. I have such a reputation around school for being a great cook, that people actually pay me to make them cookies. They just pick out whatever dessert they want me to make, I figure how much it takes to cook, and they pay me for it.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook cookies and pies. I do make main dishes, but I mostly stick to sweets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother makes this incredible breakfast dish. We mix onions, mushrooms, potatoes, broccoli, cheese, and eggs, and pretty much anything else in the fridge that sounds good in it, and fry it in a big pan. My dad also makes the most delicious German Fruit Cake (I'm not kidding, I HATE fruit cake, and I will eat his up like crazy), he also makes his own recipe of peanut brittle. The most amazing recipe that I wish to share with the world (I will eventually) is my dad's beans. Seriously, the best pot of beans eever.
My cooking triumphs
I made a batch of chocolate chip cookies one time and literally every person who tried them said it was the best cookie they've ever had.
My cooking tragedies
Before I learned what all the ingredients were for, I attempted making sugar cookies. I mixed around ingredients, and the final product was the most disgusting thing you could put in your mouth.
