My husband who never eats vegetables had 2 helpings of this tonight. I made it with the sugar, and he still ate it - it really doesn't make the recipe too sweet. Used dry basil instead (half the amount, since dry is stronger that fresh) by the way. My husband remarked that not only did it taste good, but it looked "happy", and that I should make it again. Thanks to whoever submitted this! I served it with lamb chops (broiled with crushed garlic on top) and bread. It made a nice light addition to the meal.
