I owned my own business in Lubbock TX for 25 years. I am now retired in Arkansas, living in the beautiful country, raising all kinds of birds (including peacocks) and loving it. I love to cook and really miss having kids at home or, even better, bringing their friends in to eat. It is hard cooking for two sometimes. There is nothing better than watching teenagers (especially boys) eat. I hope to write a cookbook some day, as most of us probably do, to leave to my children and grandchildren. Anything Mexican. I cook a lot with chicken. I made fudge and peanut brittle for the first time in my life this year - what took me so long??? wow! It was wonderful.
