Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
Oh my, this was so delicious that even my picky husband went for seconds...let alone actually at left overs (which is a rare occasion for him). It was sooooo easy. I had sliced pepperocinis on hand so that's what i used. I added about one cup of prepared au jus after shredding the meat and adding some more peppers at the end too, about 2 - 3 whole peppers worth (fresh heat). I toasted the buns, topped them with the meat and placed an even layer of provolone on top, then broiled until the cheese melted. We used the remaining prepared au jus (the packet makes about 6 cups) to dip our sandwiches in. Mmmmm, Mmmmm, good!

Classic Creamy Coleslaw

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
Everyone loved this recipe as is, i only cut down the portions to make about 1/3 as much. Tasted pretty darn close to that of KFC which WAS my fav. I usually go for the miracle whip salad dressing instead of mayo, but i thought it'd be too tangy with the vinegar in the recipe so i opted for the mayo...right choice:) This will be one our long time "keepers". Thank you for this recipe.

Chinese Chicken Salad III

This was even better than those at the restaurants! The dressing has a slight kick that really makes it great. As stated in some other reviews the dressing is slightly thick so i did add another tablespoon of sesame oil and one of veggie oil. i also shredded the romaine instead to mimic my favorite restaurant's style and did 1/2 lettuce and 1/2 napa cabbage. i also marinaded my chicken in a store bought marinade because we don't dig plain chicken. everything turned out great. even without changes this recipe is a surely keeper.

Cheese-Garlic Biscuits

i made a huge batch of these for a party that i served pasta at and they were a hit! the only thing i added was some garlic powder to the batter and did half and half garlic powder and garlic salt to the melted butter portion. they were very easy to make and taste way better than Red Lobster's rolls.

this recipe was as easy as it was delicious! all i added was a bit of minced garlic to the dough and it was great. next time i will consider cutting the recipe down because for only the two of us, it's totally huge!

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

this was really good, but it makes a LOT. Only two of us, one of which is lactose intolerant...so guess who ate all the leftovers which took a week...this gal! i'll maybe consider halving the recipe next time.

Easy Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
Seriously easy AND delicious to boot! The only thing I changed was I added some herbs to our family's taste (dried basil, oregano, Italian seasoning, tiny amt. of rosemary, and then fresh basil strips for garnish). We made this with crab ravioli so I added the reserved juice from the can of crab too. All i had was good vodka in the house so that's what i used, not sure if that really makes a difference though. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
