My favorite things to cook
I have little,but I try to make it nice.And THIS is where creativity comes from,friends.
Plus,myself and my boyfriend both go to school,so it pays to know good recipes.
Our favorite "house dishes":Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole,Hashbrown Casserole,Tuna Casserole,Mom's Tacos,Queso Dip,Alabama/Bronx Salmon Patties,Patty Melts,Meatloaf made with ground venison,Mac'n'Cheese,Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars,Fried Chicken,Potato Soup,Alfredo Rosa.........until our metabolisms collectively fail us.We do eat vegetables and salads all the time,I promise you.....with homemade Ranch....
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother is from New York,and my father from Alabama,so both of their tastes combined for an interesting and varied palate.
Dad had his eggs with bacon grease,I and mother with milk and margarine.
She ate bagels,he ate biscuits.Etc.,etc.
My cooking triumphs
Bread,cookies,and chicken.Most anything involving cheese.
My cooking tragedies
Cookies used to be something I never made,because I continuously burned them.
