My favorite things to cook
seafood, fish, all meats, on the grill or on the stove; sometimes in the oven. Basically, will try it all. One thing I have discovered I am not: a baker....I do not like to 'stick to the recipes'.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We are very proud of our commitment to the family dinner for at least 5 dinners a week. We have fun, share stories, and grow our relationships as a family at the dinner table; yes, two teenaged boys can (and do) enjoy sitting at a dinner table with their parents for an hour. Fixin' chili in the winter and cooking on the grill almost daily for the other 11 months in Florida. My sons (13 and 17) are learning to cook for themselves and my wife of 20 years has continued to gain confidence in the kitchen.
