About this Cook
I am a person that LOVES LIFE, FAMILY, FRIENDS, and GOOD FOOD!!!
My favorite things to cook
I really enjoy trying out new recipes. Everyday is another opportunity for me to learn how to make something new. My favorite things to cook vary from time to time. One thing that my daughter really enjoys that I make is my Chicken Marsala. Moist and flavorful....YUMMY!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am looking foward to start some traditions very soon.
My cooking triumphs
This is easy....Christmas 08' dinner!!!! Ugh, what pressure I felt cooking for my boyfriends family. Menu: Honey-Dijion Glazed Ham, Freshly made Mashed Potatos, Garlic-Roasted Asparagus, and Mediterranean Stuffed Eggplant. At the end of the meal all I got were RAVE REVIEWS! I was so happy. :)
My cooking tragedies
I seem to stink at baking. My daughter and I were so excited to bake a bundt cake...yes bundt cake. Sounds simple, right? Well we thought so too until the we began to take the cake out of the pan and ended up with PIECES of cake everywhere! Now I know: USE EXTRA COOKING SPRAY??

Flavorful Flounder
I baked 4 fillets for 15 min @ 350 and broiled the last 5 minutes. So, so, so, so great!!!! Will definitely make this again!

Banana Crumb Muffins
I am not a baker by any means and these were very easy, moist and delicious. I did add the nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon to the muffin batter, as per others suggestions. Oh...and 1 more banana because I had 4 of them. Scrumptious!!!

Michelle's Coconut Chicken Curry
I gave this 3 stars because I made all the changes that previous reviewer's suggested. Although this was a good BASE recipe, the changes suggested made this such an amazing meal. I used the lime, potato, garam masala, cayenne pepper, etc too!! OMG!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!! I loved that fact that it tasted "resturaunt quality" but I, yes I, mad this!!!!! A def keeper!!!!
