I am 315 years old and have three boys. I work full time and cook for my family who asks every night before bedtime, "so mom, what's on the menu tomorrow". My husband will call me from work just to see what is for dinner so he has something more to look forward...as if seeing me isn't enough
My favorite things to cook
I like to bake goodies and treats and I like to fix chicken dishes and experiment with the crock pot.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I really do not have any but I do use a lot of my moms recipes.
My cooking triumphs
Anything that my family all likes and dishes that I can hide "healthy foods in' without my family noticing.
My cooking tragedies
I once fixed chicken cordon blue casserole and we had company stop by. I knew that this dish was going to be awesome so we asked them to stay for dinner. I missed the step that said to pan fry the chicken. I put the chicken in the casserole dish in the oven for the specified time and the chicken never cooked. I read the directions again and realized what I did. We called Papa Murphy's in a hurry. Needless to say, we did not get a chicken pizza.
