This soup was really good but it was very bland so it needed a ton of salt & pepper. After a dash of garlic powder to give it a little more flavor it turned out ok. I made it in combination with the Double Quick Dinner Rolls recipe from this site & my family enjoyed it.

Double Quick Dinner Rolls

Wow! I have spent the last few months trying every dinner roll recipe I could find looking for the perfect roll. I'm so relieved that my search is over. These rolls are perfect. I'm not sure what other reviewers did to their rolls to make them "biscuit-like" or "crusty" but mine turned out soft & pillowy just like I wanted. My family couldn't eat them fast enough. I used garlic powder instead of onion powder.

Mexina Salsa Verde

This salsa was really good however I couldn't give it 5 stars because it REALLY needed 1 clove garlic & 1 tsp cumin. I also felt like 1/2 cup of cilantro was WAY too much & that's saying alot since I love cilantro. 1/4 cup would have been plenty.

Dog Treats I

These treats were so easy & fun to make. My dog & his friends go nutso over them & I appreciate that I always have everything on hand to whip them up. I look forward to making these at Christmas for gifts & trying the peanut butter version as well.

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

I wish I could have given this 10 stars! This is the best potato salad I've ever eaten & was the hit of the cookout. I'll never use another recipe because this one was perfect. I used pickle relish as suggested however it would have been good without it if you don't already have it on hand (I didn't).

Buttercream Icing

Very easy to make & tasted delicious. It had a milder buttercream taste which we loved. I've also tried this using various other extracts (cherry, lemon, etc.) & they were wonderful as well.

Taco Pies

I don't think I've ever given a recipe a rating below 4 stars but sadly, this one only gets 1. As suggested by other reviewers I added taco seasoning & even that didn't make this any better. In theory it sounds delicious & I was excited to try it but was disappointed in the lack of flavor. The pie crust does not go with these ingredients at all & the crushed tortilla chips are overkill (next time I'd only use chips, not pie crust).

Justin's Hoosier Daddy Chili

After trying many different recipes this one has been our favorite & I've made it many, many times. Everyone says it's the best they've had. Like other reviewers suggested, I cut back on the chicken broth. I also double the meat because we like our chili meaty.

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

Excellent fudge! I had never tried making fudge before so I wanted something easy on my first try & this was great. The batch made a perfect amount for our little family with some left over to share. I added 1/2 tsp of mint extract & they tasted almost exactly like Thin Mints.
