Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

I didn't have any problems with these cookies. Actually, they were quite easy to make. Mine are not as pretty as the picture, but taste great. They definitely will make a good cookie for gifting.

This is the 2nd time that I have made these now. I do use my kitchenaid with the bread hook. I also use these noodles to make my own chicken and noodles. Using chicken, onion, celery and broth. Delicious. Reminds me of a dish that my mom made a very long time ago. True comfort food.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

ok, this was easy and tasty! I did use a roaster to bake in the oven (which help with the stirring as well) and also 4 cups of popcorn = 1 quart. Not as much popping as one might think. Only 2 pans for me to pop.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Oh my gosh was this good. This is the first time that I have made sweet potato casserole for a Holiday and it was a hit. My niece took the rest home. I didn't change a thing. I will definitely be making for my Dad at Christmas.

Cranberry Gelatin Salad

Very good taste, I did use the topping as another suggested of sugar, cream cheese and sour cream. We had so much food at Thanksgiving and only a couple of people ate it, but I ate the day after and the taste was outstanding.

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

ok, I still cannot roll out dough for pies, but this pie crust at least can be put together. The taste is fabulous! I have used 3 times now and the taste is great. Definitely a keeper in my recipe box

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Tastes like crisco to me. I did like the way it rolled (tried the wax paper, what a waste of time). I think that I like pie crust made with at least some sugar in it

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

The meatballs were spectacular! I didn't have any bread to make breadcrumbs, so I used oatmeal. While the sauce was good, I think I will try and tweak it a bit with some more spices next time; seemed to lack a little flavor, This was a very inexpensive meal to make and I definitely will make it again.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy. I have made this cake 2 times now with the Satiny chocolate glaze from this site. After I added the chocolate glaze I also added heath bits to the top of that and not only is it beautiful but a chocoholics dream come true!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I will give it a 5 since my guests really enjoyed the meal. I, on the otherhand was not impressed. I did enjoy the sauce, but didn't care for the taste of the chicken

Key Lime Pie VII

Caramel Apple Dip

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Yummy, I have made this several times now with a different flair each time. The first time I followed exactly and it was awesome! Many compliments. My favorite twist (and a hit with all ages)is to use romaine instead of spinach and add some feta cheese. The last time I made this I was asked by several people for the recipe. (I also use a little less sugar than the recipe calls for). This is my new favorite. I want some right now!

Coconut Poke Cake

This cake was a little wierd when I was making it. After applying the mixture over the hot cake I never thought the cake would soak it up, but it sure did. Tastes great on a hot day. Sweet but not heavy. Loved it! You must make at least a day ahead to get full flavor.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

I needed a quick "stuff in the cupboard" recipe for chicken tonight. This turned out great. I will definitely keep on my list of quick and tasty meals. I will even try to use the sauce for homemade nuggets!
