Obviously, my favorite things to EAT. I'm a comfort food guy, so pastas and rice dishes, baked goods, and SOUP. I'm the Soup Angel. I can make a delicious soup from old pizza and meat loaf... as long as you don't ask what's in the soup, you will love it! My mother did all the cooking in my family. My dad did the dishes with alacrity. Mom used the oven and broiler to store extra paper bags from the market, which she later used as trash bags. Once dad was cold and turned on the oven for heat, and we had to call the fire department! My first souffle was done on a dare... or a bet, I forget which. Anyway, a lot was riding on the outcome, and I have to say, I rose to the occasion... and so did my souffle! All the souffles I have ever made since that one. Utter failures. Anyone need a hundred door stops?
