Grew up in Oregon. Lived in Boise, ID for 9 years. Remarried 8/6/08 to friend I knew in Oregon during school days. Moved to him home here on the Big Island of Hawaii. Lived single for 17 years and didn't cook much. My husband is diabetic and I'm learning to cook again.

My mom was an excellent cook and I strive to at least meet her standards. Lots of baking at holidays.
