Bacon-Flavored Dog Biscuits
My son and I made these for his dog Killer, and he LOVED them! ( the dog not my son....) They were so easy and a great way to use leftover bacon grease since I hate to waste anything. This recipe makes alot and they do not keep well at room temperature, so I would recommend storing them in the freezer and taking them out as needed. Great recipe!

Cindy's Jambalaya
Great and easy! I looked at several other jambalaya recipes from this site but chose this one because it had the fewest steps....no taking meat out and putting it back in. I used a ginger chicken broth I had leftover from making chicken salad the other day, and it added a nice layer to the jambalaya (the ginger was very subtle). I meant to add a bit of chicken base to the broth since it was homemade and unseasoned, but I forgot so had to add more salt to the finished product than I would have liked. I will definitely make again using a well seasoned broth next time.

Favorite Cabbage Salad
I made this the other day as a salad to go along with pot roast, and everyone loved it! Did not have time to cook the bacon so left it out, but can only imagine it would be even better with bacon....maybe even a few drops of bacon grease in the dressing. Might try that next time, I love me some good pork fat! This is a slaw, so the vinegar and sugar MAKE the dressing. I would not recommend leaving either of these out or you just end up with mayonnaise instead of an awesome dressing...
