I'm 18 years old and my ultimate goal in life is to be a stay-at-home wife and mother. I believe in the traditional idea of the man going to work while the woman cleans and takes care of the kids and has dinner ready by the time her husband gets home. So my main focus on cooking is family meals. I love seafood! My favorite thing to make is shrimp stir fry! I'm not good at following recipes...or even looking at recipes...i just go in the store and grab some meat and vegies and other random stuff and figure out what i'm going to do with it all later. I made my first shrimp stir fry with out a recipe and just made it up as I cooked. A habbit that could cause problems in no time. One thing that my family always freaks out over and gets all excited about are these things we call "'s ovaries". sounds disgusting and crude...i know. i don't know where the name came from but they're nothing more than cream cheese and diced jalepeno mixed together and wrapped in deli sliced ham. My first ever shrimp stir fry. random vegetables that i threw together and some shrimp....granted it needed a little salt and the broccoli wasn't completely cooked, but it was delicious. Me and my boyfriend ate it all...way too much for us to eat! but it was too good to stop. I tried making chocolate chip cookies with my step-sister once. One of the easiest things to make right? well, we used the mixer after we put the chocolate chips in so they turned out to be just chocolate cookies...well they don't cook very well when the chocolates mixed in there like that. they burnt majorly after just 5 mins in the oven :(. another thing is that i can never bake bisquits right....ever! i always burn the bottom. always lol.
