About this Cook
I'm the best cook in the house; my wife will confirm that. Nothing special about me. If I have a simple recipe, I'll cook anything.
My favorite things to cook
Things that are simple to throw together. I don't do gourmet cooking.

Slow Cooker Baked Beans
Interesting recipe. Would you believe it's the same recipe as in my old Better Homes & Gardens cookbook copywrite 1981? In BH&G it's called "New England Baked Beans". The only diff is this recipe doesn't call for salt. But the crockpot method is identical.

Pressure Cooker Chili
I agree with Whatayawant; it is missing something, maybe more chili powder, but it is good. I saved the recipe for later use.

Pressure-Cooked Beef Stew
I must be from a different part of the country, because I would call this recipe "Pressure-Cooked Pot Roast". I was looking for a beef stew recipe, found this one and realized, after making it with stew meat, that it was actually pot roast. Not too quick on my part, but the recipe is really good when made with stew meat. After the veggies are cooked, mix in the warm, cooked stew meat and you have a great stew. Kudos!!
