About this Cook
I don't cook for just one or two anymore, so if I'm going to take the time to make something, it has to be good enough to share. Because cooking and baking have to fall into place with my other hobbies, including woodworking and guitar, I don't don the kitchen apron as much as I used to.
My favorite things to cook
I'm not sure what I enjoy making the most, but my family loves it when I bake cookies or light, fluffy, buttery dinner rolls.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Thanksgiving either my sister or I will make heaps of the aforementioned dinner rolls...and they never go to waste. Waist, maybe.

Blueberry Streusel Muffins
I made a quadruple batch of these intending to give some to friends. It's a good thing that I didn't just double it because within 10 minutes of the first batch coming out of the oven my son had eaten four of them and would have gone for more if I hadn't cut him off. I had to exercise restraint to only have three myself. Be advised, the difference between doughy and perfectly done is a matter of one or two minutes. Check frequently once they get close. With my oven in convection mode, it only took 18 minutes to bake these.
