Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

I made this several months ago and am finally getting around to writing a review. The reason I remembered to write a review is because I had saved some in the freezer and just defrosted it for dinner. This is a great soup kindof reminds me of a chili with southwestern flavors. I believe I added quite a bit more garlic and chili powder just because I like my food to have lots of spice. By the way in my opinion most soups and stews taste better the next day after the flavors have had time to blend.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

I havent made meatloaf very many times before and so I wasn't expecting any particular taste. I did cut the sugar in half because so many reviews said to do so, and was glad that I did because it was still very sweet. My husband loved it though and said it was some of the best meatloaf he had ever tasted, so it is definitely a keeper.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

I love to bake and have tried many different Dinner Roll recipis. This is definitely the best I have made. Great with any meal but I love to drizzle with a little butter and honey...Heavenly!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

I really loved this mac and cheese! It taste kindof like a lasangna without tomatoe sauce. I did add some onion powder and used Ritz crackers in the place of bread crumbs. To this mixture I also added a little garlic powder which smelled like garlic bread when the butter and Ritz started to cook. For some reason my husband doesn't like the taste of cottage cheese so he was not enthralled with my new favorite dish, but hey, more for me right? :)

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

I made this soup for the slowcooker but wanted to speed things up a bit, so I started it out in a 5 qt pot on the stove and cooked for about 30 min or so until the chicken was done. I shredded it and then put everything in the slowcooker for about 2 1/2 hrs. It tasted delicious! I did add the beer but used Budlight since several of the reviews said the beer taste was overwhelming. The only other thing I did differently was use Pace chunky salsa in place of the rotel.
