I like to try new recipes but when I'm busy and I don't have ingredients, I get frustrated with cooking. In the past I've cooked the same things week after week for convenience. I'm trying to expand and be more creative.

Confetti Chowder
This was delicious. I did take the advice of other reviewers and added diced red pepper, minced garlic, white and cayenne pepper and herbes de provence. I did not add the sugar either. This is a keeper!

Homemade Refrigerator Pickles
Easy recipe and great way to use to the garden cukes in addition to making dill pickles. My family loves these. I did add the mustard seed and celery seed recommended by several reviewers so I'm basing my rec/review on those 2 additional ingredients.

Breaded Chicken Fingers
Everyone loved these. I used Ritz crackers in place of bread crumbs and use Italian seasoning. I also coated them twice. I had to double the recipe to have enough for for my family of four. They really indulged :)
