Just me
most think I'm Fun
My favorite things to cook
I'm ready to cook allmost anything, and I cook for dinners for 150 at times for VFW Functions ( of course I have good help)
My favorite family cooking traditions
my grandmothers were pretty good at cooking what they needed to, (one better than the other)and my mom must have learned from hers. I've learned more from remembering taste and experimenting
My cooking triumphs
I guess my best, were stuffed mushrooms. I made 4 dozen for a taster.( 3 of us took turns just bringing food in now and then) Well I outdid myself. I had so many people asking if I could make some for them. I had folks offering $5.00 each for 2 dozen. Well they were a ton of work, and I cook for fun, so I turned them down. I could have made a bussiness from them. ( No I'm not giving out the recipe)
My cooking tragedies
HAHA . hmm I know there are many, but none I can think of off hand. Except for droping a great roasted lamb on the floor as I was carving it in front of company. Fortunately though at times I've been worried, even the meals for 80 to 150 guest have been tragedy free.
