This was definetly good, but not great. It did taste a bit oriental like other reviewers said. I added cumin and lime juice, which helped.

Marshmallow Fondant

This was moderately easy for me. I did have trouble with tears and rips whilst draping the cake. I admit, I easily could have done something wrong. I will try it again for the next kid's birthday (next month) and edit this review after another try.

Make Ahead French Toast

This was delicious. I took it to a baby shower and was repeatedly asked for the recipe. Just a reminder to everyone to grease your dish or the contents will stick horribly! I think I will add fruit the next time I make!

This is delectable. I did not change one thing to this recipe and it got fantastic reviews at Thanksgiving dinner. Edit-I have made this 3 times now with rave reviews. My third was the first to not break apart. The first two did but once you chill it and cut in pieces...it didn't matter.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I have made these numerous times. I find I only cook them 4 to 5 minutes and they are perfect. I use a mixer and mine comes out stucky, but you add flour after you chill it and it's perfect!

Chocolate Apple Bread

I am very surprised at the high ratings on this recipe. While the end result was good, I had to tweak the ingredients severely to achieve it. This batter was incerdibly DRY. Instead of butter I used half apple butter and half oil, but had to add another 1/2 cup of apple butter. I also increased the milk to 1/4 cup. Only after this was it workable. I also added another cup of apples into the ending batter.

This is a great recipe. I always substitute applesauce/apple butter for half the oil and 1/2 the flour with whole wheat. It's moist and fabulous.

I gave this 5 stars more for the convience than the taste. It did taste GREAT. Not too sweet, surprisingly. Way easy to make for large numbers of people. Already had requests for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

I am surprised people who rated this said it was bland. I am a salt fanatic and usually add more spices to recipes too. But this didn't need it, I thought. It was great. I used leftover ground beef from the night before and it worked like a charm!
