First, thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. My husband has never liked apple pie, even though the rest of the family loves it, and I make an awesome pie myself. However, since making this pie, my husband will ask, "is Grandma Ople making dessert tonight?" Ha!! The recipe is really wonderful, and I enjoyed it more than my own original recipe. I did add cinnamin as another reviewer suggested, and doubled the sauce as well. Everyone that has had this pie asks for the recipe.....I tell them, "I'll have to ask Grandma Ople." This is really first rate. Again, thanks for sharing.

I have to say that I was skeptical at first, but as the other reviewers also stated, this was simple and wonderfully delicious. I will be able to use this recipe for numerous pies I make. My family and friends give this "Two Thumbs Up"!!
