Good recipe, but I prefer extra lemon to taste.

No-Bake Peanutty Graham Treats

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
This is a pretty tasty treat. I did as another reviewer and used an icecream scoop then drizzled with chocolate. My family liked these a lot. I will probably be making these again in the future. It still did not top my all time favorite graham cereal treat though, Indoor Smores which you can probably find on this site somewhere as well.

Ma Lipo's Apricot-Glazed Turkey with Roasted Onion and Shallot Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
I used a can of apricots and blended them up since I could not find the nectar. It turned out wonderfully. THe ginger has a really delicious kick to it. I used this sauce over pork tenderloin. I basted in on the pork during the last 15 minutes of baking.

Quick Gnocchi

This is a great recipe, and its so easy. I added Italian seasoning to the dough, and chilled the dough for only a few minutes before boiling. I made this with the Amatriciana sauce from this site, and was delicious. I will definitely use this one again.

I love peanut butter, so this is a great little treat to make when you get that craving. It turned out great as is. Thanks for the recipe!

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Ribbon Dessert

This is such a delicious combination of flavors for a dessert. It looks pretty, its pretty easy to put together. It's a little time consuming, but it is so worth it. I get raves from everyone who tries it.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

This recipe was good, but for the amount of fat in it, I would expect something phenomenal. I think I'll search for a healthier version if I get a pasta craving again.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
This soup is very filling and really good. It made me feel healthy just eating it, but no flavor was sacrificed. I served this soup with some homemade cornbread on the side. This soup keeps well in the fride. I think I ate leftovers a week after I made it, and it still tasted great. I might try adding shrimp to this in the future to change it up a little.

Ladyfingers

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
I followed the directions exactly, but these were runny and baked flat. Even when I refrigerated the batter, it still ended up spreading. I don't know why mine did not turn out light and spongy...They still tasted good, but the texture was all wrong.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
I made this for Easter in a trifle dish with homemade lady fingers. I used Kahlua and substituted sour cream + cream cheese + whipping cream for the mascarpone as another suggested. This turned out beautiful and was incredibly good.

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
It tastes sooo good, but its a lot of work to press it into the dish. It didn't seem to stick right in the pan, so I ended up adding butter to help, but I think that just made it too greasy. So I baked it a bit longer, and probably overcooked it. Pie crusts are not my forte, but like i said, it was delicious.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
This is a great recipe if you need something delicious and quick. I had everything on hand. It tastes great the next day, and is very filling. I used chunky mushroom ragu sauce instead. It was pretty good but it probably could have used a bit of a kick to the sauce. Overall, it was good and I will be using this recipe again! Thanks for sharing.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
My husband says it reminds him of visiting his grandmother's in columbia as a child. I suppose they eat this sort of thing over there. It was very thick and creamy. I used long grain rice and 1 can of evaporated milk + 1/2 cup of skim milk and the texture turned out great.

German Pancake with Buttermilk Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This was easy to make and delicious. The sauce is very sweet, but its perfect with the pancakes because the pancake is bland, but with a great texture. It is more like a dessert than breakfast, so drink a nice cold glass of milk with the pancakes!

Jo's Rosemary Bread

This was my first attempt at making bread. It was pretty good, but I wonder if it would have tasted more like authentic "bakery" bread if I had used bread flour instead of all purpose flour.

Appetizer Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This is the first time I have ever made my own "marinade". The marinade flavor was very delicious, but I will try to make these on a grill instead of the oven next time. I think they would have been perfect right off the grill. They became a little dry using the broiler in the oven. These were completely gone at the party I made, so everyone must have liked them too.

Cider Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
I made 2 fondues, and this was the real hit at the party. The flavor of this fondue was really good, but the texture had lumps of swiss cheese that did not properly melt. It might have been the type of swiss I used (baby swiss, because aged swiss was not available). I will definitely try this recipe again because the flavor was so good, and try to work out the texture problem.

Argentine Meat Empanadas

These were a hit at a party.I added extra vinegar(red wine vinegar) for more flavor. I sauteed the onions and extra lean meat together. The raisins were a really nice addition to the mixture. These were definitely worth making.

Peanut Butter Balls III

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
I made these to dip into chocolate fondue for a party. My husband said that reeses cups don't compare to these for a peanut butter fix. They were sooo good! They were very sweet and peanut buttery, moist, but not too moist. The crunchy-ness was a nice delicious touch. I will definitely be making these again.
