This is a great recipe for those pot luck events. It's easy to double the recipe and everyone loves it. I have added an envelope of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (powdered version) to the sour cream and always use cream of mushroom soup versus cream of potato soup and also add real bacon bits. The added flavor of the ranch dressing and bacon bits works well

This is a great cookie. I added and additional 1/8 cup of shortening because my mixture seemed to be too crumbly. Next time I would add more peanut butter instead of more shortening to get more peanut flavor. I used the butter flavored Crisco to give it a more buttery taste. Excellent recipe

This recipe was great. I served them with stew and they were a hit with everyone. I also used the butter flavored Crisco. I did not get 20 biscuits from one recipe. I made two batches and got 24 biscuits using a water glass to cut them. The double batch served 8 adults with some left for the next day.
