I'm a full time blue collar worker, so cooking sometimes is hard to keep in my daily routine. However, I love cooking on weekends and especially for a lot of people. I'm married and have two grown children, and two very lively dogs. I love to cook pierogies, halushki and stuffed cabbages (halupkis). I love the big, holiday dinners with hams and turkeys and all the sides that I experiment with. We have had an annual Pierogie Party around Christmas time for 5 years. It used to be strictly for family, but now friends have been included. That's the biggest and best party! Chieken and rice casserole. Yeast rolls that seemed to take over the whole oven and kitchen. I thought that it was the Blob from the old movie. Not to mention the time my turkey dinner caught on fire in my oven. Live and learn, I say.
