About this Cook
Ive been a lover of food since I was just a kid. My parents pretty much let me indulge in what I wanted so I never had food restrictions as a kid. My mom could cook well, so could my grandmother, aunts and uncles. So I was a lil fat kid :) I keep in shape now, but I could never neglect the food that means most to be....greasy, good, fattening food, cakes, and pastries :)
My favorite things to cook
Oh italian, and southern food by far. Being from the south it's just embedded in my soul :) I am really starting to grow a love and passion for baking. Pastries, and cakes...pastries from different cultures are starting to fascinate me as well, especially asian pastries.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The usual thanksgiving, and Christmas. I'm trying to start traditions of my own with my partner as well.
My cooking triumphs
My Avocado Feta Spring Mix Salad with an Infused Olive Oil. I make excellent fried pickles, and a wonderful sausage stuffing. I recently learned how to make crab rangoons which turned out wonderful. Big hit with my friends and they ask me to make it all the time. I can also make a wonderful stuffed chicken with 7 italians cheeses inside with aruluga stuffed in as well. Serve it with a good homemade red sauce which ill never give out that recipe :)
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make a tuscan pizza with chicken sundried tomatoes, and a pesto infused crust. I put way too much salt and the pizza crust came out like a salt lick. Pure HORROR!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake
This was absolutely wonderful!! I am a huge chocolate lover so I actually added quite a few more tablespoons of ghiradelli cocoa to the mix, and used Kahlua's Mocha Coffee Liqueur!!! What a difference!!
