Creamy Smashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This was very good. This coming from someone who usually skipps the mashed potatoes. My husband didn't use reduced fat ingredients and substitutes garlic salt for the onion salt. It was a success.

Easy Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Very good! We whipped this up at the last minute. I don't usually eat mashed pototoes and gravy, but my husband made some pototoes, so we found this recipe. It was quick and easy. I substituted Lactose milk to make it a little easier for me to eat. It was delicious.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Absolutely delicious! Frankly, I just wanted to try it because as a Michigander, I loved the name. Of course the 5 star rating helped. My husband made this today while I was at work. We came home to a wonderful thanksgiving dinner in March:) He is now the official Turkey maker - due to this recipe.

French Onion Soup III

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
I made this with low sodium beef stock and it was great. We did have to add extra salt, but usually although I like French Onion Soup, I can't eat too much because of the saltiness. I can't wait to make it again. We had it with our steak dinner one night and with loaded baked potatoes another night. It felt like we were eating out.

Bread Machine Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
This recipe was very tasty. We substituted wheat flour, so it didn't rise as much as it probably would have with white flour. I plan on making it agian, perhaps next time with a mix or white and wheat flour. I made this again, several times. I now use 1/2 white and 1/2 wheat flour. I love the taste. My daughter still complains a little, but I know it's a lot healthier than the Little Ceasars Pizza she'd rather have.
