My family is always on the go. I have a son that is a freshman in high school involved in sports year round. It seems like many of our meals are on the go or nachos and popcorn at a game. I've always baked and love making appetizers but have never really cooked a main meal. I am joining the sight to branch out and try new things. The only meals I am confident in fixing are meatloaf and tortellini soup. I love cooking desserts, appetizers and soups. When I was married to my ex I was new to cooking. He complained about everything never stopping to think I was learning as I went. I haven't cooked a meal much since. My wonderful husband now does most of the cooking but I would like to start chipping in and creating some new flavor in the kitchen and our lives. I'm sure he will be surprised!!
