This was pretty bland as is, and I even added way more garlic than called for. I added a good bit of salt and pepper, and even some basil when I tasted it, but it needs much more. I think baking it with more seasonings and mozzarella cheese is about all that could save it.

This was pretty good and has the ability to be seasoned to personal preference. The only thing I added was a tablespoon of minced garlic, but I add garlic to everything. It's a little labor intensive with the having julienne the potatoes and shred the cabbage, but otherwise it's very simple. My toddler and my teens all liked it, as well as my husband and myself. The next time I make it, I plan to use seasoned salt instead of regular salt.

Like others said, very bland. I seasoned the meat heavily, so it tasted good, but the sauce is very lacking in flavor. I dumped a bunch of garlic powder and pepper on it, but it still needs more. I don't know what combination of spices would make this good, so I'm just not going to make it again.
