born and raised in the south, but have traveled quite a bit. I love southern cooking, since it was what i first learned starting at an early age by watching and helping my mom. I like to try new recipes from all regions. anything that takes time and patience. I love to bake and try gourmet recipes. drawing on family recipes passed down through generations and holiday baking is something i get great enjoyment from. Indian curry, Thai stir fry recipes, anything Italian, homemade breads, cream cheese caramel flan, sticky toffee pudding, pork tenderloin with wild rice pilaf, cream brulee. I don't have the knack for my mom's coleslaw dressing, so i leave that one for her expertise.
