Grilled Scallops Au Vin

At last, a wonderful recipe for Scallops. I've tried them many times, but this isthe best. Fork Tender and very tasty. I did add a bit of Nutmeg. Otherwise I followed the recipe. It was great!

Turned out wonderful, but there are some mistakes in the directions which I figured out before I started. Directions say stir in water - no amt. listed on ingredients. Directions do not say when to add sugar. What it should read is stir in sugar and pectin. Makes a wonderful gift basket item!

Classic Taco Salad

Blue Cheese with Capers and Red Onion

I tried this recipe the first time with my Bunco Group. It was such a hit! A nice change from the "sweet things" and everyone wanted the recipe. Since I have used it again and again and it is always well received. Very different!!!

Mother's Pot Roast

This was wonderful tasting and the meat was so tender! I actually used a chuck roast - it was awesome and as good left over as when first served. I did add a little red wine.

Apple Enchiladas

This is awesome. So Easy, So tasty, Such a nice presentation. I made this for visiting family for dessert and they raved about it and all wanted the recipe. We talked about the different kinds of fruit we could use and anxious to try them out.

Homestyle Beef, Macaroni and Cheese

Was easy to fix and very tasty. I added sliced ripe olives and some cilantro to suit our taste and it was wonderful. Ended up putting in into a casserole dish toppping with some cheese and baking till bubbly to take to a family at church. Everyone in the family loved it! Will be a pot-luck regular.

Herby Roasted Potato Wedges

I've made this recipe several times for guests and they always eat it all! Very tasty - and only the one casserole dish to clean. I sliced my potatoes, rather than wedge them, and sometimes use red potatoes which I think are best.

Champagne Shrimp and Pasta

A really great recipe and easy to prepare. Good for company or just the family. Can add other things you like, i.e. mushrooms, olives,, etc., and it comes our wonderful! Can't say about kids because we don't have any at home any more.

Old Fashioned Lemon Pie

Cherry Cheese Pie I

When asked to bring dessert to a Suppers 8 dinner at church, I came to Allrecipes for help as dessert is not really what I do best. This Pie was so terrific, so easy, so successful, so tasty and so beautiful, it will probably become my trademark!
