I have been cooking since I was a little girl when I got my first red and white checked cookbook. My parents and uncle got me into gourmet cooking at a young age and now I love trying any and all foods! I love cooking and I love trying out recipes on this site! I really enjoy making things that have a creative flair, such as desserts; however I am probably best at making quick throw together dinners. I can combine odd things to come up with an easy, but amazing pasta or a different tasting stir fry. Pesto! My uncle cooked pesto all the time when I was little, and now nothing compares to homemade. I have finally accomplished re-creating my grandmother's Christmas Jello recipe. It has taken at least 3 years since she passed away to get it right, and this year was finally a success! Broiling... need I say more? No, but really I tried to broil a marshmallow topping for some brownies I made. It was a flaming disaster!!!!
