I love to bake! I've been whipping up recipes and creating my own since I was 14 and started with a traditional Nestle Toll House cookie recipe we're all familiar with. I own my own catering company (soon to be a bakery) here in Seattle for Cupcakes & Cookies. And I'm a wife and a mom! Two things I'm most proud of :-) Cookies and cupcakes are my favorites. I bake for my family and friends, and clients as often as I can! I also love trying new dinner recipes, side dishes,etc. Definitely home cooked,old fashioned type foods. Some of my families favorites are my chicken paprikash, chicken curry, beef stew with dumplings, my slow cooker pork tacos, things like that. I love full flavor so I tend to stay away from the "low calorie" type recipes. I would have to say creating baking recipes. I truly love when I try something new and it goes over well at a party or gathering. Baking for people is something I just love! Oh boy, well it would have to be the time I tried to make my mother's beef stroganoff and it was decided that I cooked the flavor out of it. I'm not sure what I did but it had absolutely no taste. That was definitely a pizza night!
