I have worked for Washington State Ferries now for more than 15 years! It's time to move forward so I am in school earning my degree as a registered nurse. I am looking forward to serving the Lord (if He wills it) aboard the Africa Mercy (ship) and Flight Nursing!

I LOVE to bake everything sweet, cook anything spicy, cheesy or Italian.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Pig Cookies and coloring on the table cloth! Lots of garlic! A good Brut champagne with chips, dips & chocolates! Long holiday suppers with everyone enjoying each other's company!
My cooking triumphs
Pineapple Ham, Garlic Turkey, Harvey Wallbanger Cake, Pico de Gallo, Seviche, Pumpkin Pie, Homemade Chocolate Cake....
My cooking tragedies
The FIRST turkey I ever cooked by myself I left the "white packet of guts" inside....enough said! LOL Fortunately, it was an excellent tasting bird and I still use the same recipe! (In defending new cooks, the recipe left out the part about removing the "white packet of guts"!) It will forever be in our family album!
