I used imitation crab from the seafood dept and ran it through the food processor. Honestly, the dip seemed a little bland and too thick. More onion or perhaps a seasoning would have helped. Next time I would add a little milk to it and try some Old Bay or other seasonings.

Reuben Dip

The flavor of this dish is great. But I didn't care for the texture...it wasn't really like a dip and was hard to scoop with crackers/chips due to the clumps of beef/sauercraut. Next time, I will double the sauce and then mix up instead of layering. I can see how it would be good in the crockpot...but still think it needs a bit more sauce.

Chocolate Trifle

I made this back to back for a couple of different parties. First time, I followed previous suggestion and used chunky brownies, toffee chips, caramel, french vanilla coolwhip and whipping cream...it was awesome!! Second time, I used regular cool whip since I couldn't find the vanilla. Also, didn't let it setup as long. I noticed the difference - wasn't as good. But I got lots of requests for the recipe both times. I'll definitely make it again
