Halloween Bloody Baked Rats

The rats were gory but great. A big hit with the kids. I did substitute baked pumpkin seeds for the carrots when making the ears. It is helpful to make an indention in the "rat" where you want to place the eyeballs before baking. A few "eyes" slid off but that just added to the gory look of the rats. This recipe was simple and fun to make.

Playgroup Granola Bars

These were good and made a large batch. My 12 y old daughter made the bars adding mini chocolate chips. She enjoyed mixing everything together with her hands. I like that there is very little sugar and no sodium compared to the store bought. We will be making these often!

Butter Bean Burgers

I thought these were delicious. A nice creamy texture on the inside and cruncy on the outside. I am new to vegetarian cooking and I thought these were both easy and tasty.
