I am a 36 year old single mother of two teenage boys, I have been cooking for about 20 years. I grew up in a family of cooks and my brother is a chef. Cooking and reading are my favorite things to do in that order. I am always looking for new recipes to try and my children are always reading to test and judge or tell me suggestions to make things better I am a soul food cook by birth but I love to cook and bake just about everything. When we all get together the night before Thanksgiving and prepare the meal for dinner the next day I catered a birthday party for 150 people doing all the cooking myself.
