Mother's Applesauce Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
Delicious cake! This is my first time making an applesauce cake and I will definately make this recipe again. Although I did make one very big mistake. I didn't let the butter & brown sugar cool enough before adding to the confectioners sugar for the icing. So it melted! Thus leaving a bowl of caramel colored sauce. It tastes very good and I drizzled it on the cake. Next time I will allow it to cool much longer, but this way was still good! :) Thanks for the great recipe.

I like this recipe but I prefer to omit the peanut butter.

Frozen Berry Fluff

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I made this and it came out the way it is supposed to. However the taste is gross. It tastes like Strawberry flavored sweetened condensed milk. Both my fiance & I hated it. Which was very depressing because we were very excited to try it...especially after waiting 8 hours for it to freeze. :(

Buttercream Frosting

I just made this recipe and it tastes great. I cut the recipe in half and it tastes so much better than the recipe on the confectionars sugar bag. Pairing it with my cream cheese frosting/filling is excellent.

I really want to make this recipe but I am a bit confused on whether I am supposed to actually prepare the jello or just use the powder? Any help would be appreciated.

Easy Sugar Cookies

These cookies turned out great. But I did have a problem. My batter turned out really runny so there was no "forming the batter into a ball". I had to add more flour. But after they were baked they were great!

Cabbage Hamburger Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
I made this tonight, and it was great. Easy to prepare and very budget friendly. I already had half a head of cabbage chopped up and frozen and I put it in the casserole dish straight from the freezer. Worked out wonderfully. My fiance finished his and asked if he could have the rest of mine. Of course, I said no.
